Planning a holiday on the south coast is easy with a wide variety of attractions and tours available to get you close to the action.

White lions mogo zoo

Just few minutes south of Batemans Bay you'll find The Original Gold Rush Colony, an authentic recreation of an 1850s gold rush village, where you can pan for and find real gold.

Around the corner, still in Mogo is Mogo Zoo, dedicated to the survival of endangered exotic animals with over 40 different species including rare white lions.

Enjoy a close encounter with native wildlife at Birdland Animal Park in Batemans Bay where you can enjoy a hands-on experience with wombats and snakes.

One of Eurobodalla's most iconic attractions is Montague Island. The Island includes the state's largest colony of Australian and New Zealand fur seals. It is also one of the largest little penguin breeding sites in Australia and is home to a wide variety of birds from peregrine falcons, crested terns and silver gulls. Tours to the Island are scheduled to depart daily (subject to minimum numbers and sea conditions) and can be booked through the Visitor Centres.

Other fun things to do include a spin around the track with GTS dirt karts Moruya, mini-golf or Kidz Biz, both in Batemans Bay or the rock climbing wall at Narooma Fitness and Cycles.
